Frozen chicken advice

I bought a fresh chicken yesterday and roasted it. I put it in the fridge but when I took it out today it had frozen (I think the thermostat must be going on my fridge). My original plan had been to use the cooked chicken in a recipe and then freeze it but am I right to think that now it has frozen itself I can still reheat it for my recipe but not freeze it again. Stupid fridge

I normally live my chicken, when curried on the stove. I have done this for fifty years! Not a problem. If you would like a curry recipe for it, I can get you one!0

Maybe time to get your fridge instructions out, or google, to see what is causing your fridge to freeze?0

It was google that suggested it was my thermostat. It was a bit weird though as nothing else in the fridge seemed to be frozen, it was in a ceramic dish on a glass shelf and maybe this somehow made it colder as it was the underneath that was most frozen. It happened before about a month ago that some lettuce froze, but I turned down the fridge temp and it had been fine since. Hoping it is not about to die....
Cooked chicken and put the left over portion in the fridge for now - fate will decide whether it gets refrozen or just chilled!0 -

Doesn't he jump out of the curry pot if he's still live?0 -

Normally chicken curry natures on the stove for 48 hours. It does not like the cold of a fridge. Currently maturing is BoP Dog Pot. A delicious snorker casserole in home made tomato sauce. It will be brewing til tomorrow. The smell of caramelised red onions is blowing our cat, Raffles, head in!0
