Pressure cooker question
Hi all I've been reading the various MSE forums for years but am more of a lurker than a poster. Inspired by the OS threads, yesterday I unearthed my pressure cooker from where it has been languishing in the garage (for a very long time) and I'm excited about putting it back into use. However - I've lost the instructions…

Living out of the Freezer
Please be kind to a long term lurker who is very impressed with the inventiveness of this forum. I've just "inherited" the contents of my mother in law's freezer as she sadly passed away 3 weeks ago after a long battle with cancer. I already had a well stocked freezer (well 3 actually) but they are now at bursting point. I…

Mops - Which Kind Do You Use
I've just about had it up to here with mops. I like Addis the PVA sponge ones with the mop that folds them in half to wring the water out, they clean well and leave the floor almost dry, but I'm so fed up of the sponge coming away from the plastic holder. I have a Vileda one that has rollers that are supposed to wring the…

Tonight's yorkies rose ok,…

Why is my towelling dressing gown like sand paper?!
I hope someone can offer some old style (or otherwise) advice on this please. I have a 100% towelling dressing gown that is 7 years old now and gets washed once a week.
