Any canny tips please?
we've lost the metal tray for our Panasonic combo-microwave. A branded replacement is silly money £37.99 +p&p
any ideas what can I safely use instead: an enamel pie dish? a quiche/flan tin?
it's for when the machine is on Combi or turbo settings ( variation of microwave, conduction oven &/or grill).
about 32cm diameter. can't use glass because of grill. would-be safe to use aluminium? I already have a bbq griddle that would fit.
or a paella pan be safe to use and bend the handles upward so it would fit in?
thank very much

Welcome Blueorchid, I've got one of these and I can see what you mean. That price seems exhorbitant for what looks like a heavy duty baking tray! I hope that you get some good replies
I always leave the 'glass' microwave turntable in underneath so maybe you'd have to make sure that area is covered? The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

There is one listed on fleabay. Just over £12 atm.
Not me selling btw.
Postage seems a bit steep but better than the cost of a new one.0
