Slow Cooker - Sweet Macaroni Pudding
Hi all, As the title suggests, does anyone have a recipe for slow-cooked sweet macaroni pudding? I've found a few recipes online (though none for the slow cooker) but they all use cooked pasta and I'd rather put mine in uncooked or I think it will turn out like mush? Thanks, Kevin :)

Can you strech a jumper?
I have a new Topshop jumper that is very soft and fluffy and a beautiful sky blue but is short in the body. It's 78% nylon and 22% acrylic. Is it possible to make it longer somehow?

Hate the smell of Mr Muscle glass cleaner?
Can anyone recommend a homemade glass cleaner that I can make from scratch? I currently use Mr Muscle but I hate the vinegary smell, I know that all glass cleaners probably contain vinegar, but is there something that I can make myself where I can add something to dilute the smell. Thank you!

Eating cheaply and healthily as a student
Hi, I’m currently a student and I want to challenge the stereotype that students only live on beans on toast/ready meals/noodles! I’m trying to challenge myself to cook meals which don’t blow the budget, and trying to make them healthy too. I have read previous threads of cheap and healthy meals on a budget, however I now…

Rice cooker, to buy, or not to buy?
Are rice cookers worth having? The reason I ask is we use boil in the bag rice as we cant seem to get it right using rice straight in the pan, its either sloppy or burn to the pasn. Are these fool proof? Chris

What eras inspire you?
I am quite a vintage fan, but I love different eras for the way they inspire me. I love the mend and make do attitude of the 1940's, it really appeals to my OS thriftiness and I think the spirit and strength of those women on the homefront while bombs were dropping is amazing. I use this era for inspiration in adapting…

What can I freeze...and then cook from frozen?
I don't normally post in old style but I've had some good ideas from here in the past so I'm hoping you will allow me to pick your brains a little. We are really struggling with wasting food and money at the moment and I am trying to think of ways to reduce this so I'm wondering if you can tell me if you think I'm ok…

What can I substitute greek yoghurt for?
I have a pot of double cream, could I use this instead of Greek yoghurt? A google search says about using heavy cream, which I guess is the same as double cream? But I'm not sure if it is! I can buy regular yoghurt near me (but not Greek) but I'm trying to spend as little money as possible (aren't we all!) so if I could…

Using up surplus of veg

Would anyone be able to recommend any recipes for using as much of…
