Sealed pot challenge No.7 #0880 -
Meal plans for this week have changed after Boyf returned from shopping having spent £100! (Instead of the £25 for milk, fruit, veg & eggs on his shopping list! Good news is he bought loads of ys meat (portioned up and in freezer now) but bad news is he bought enough veg for a family of 6 easy:
-6 peppers
-pack cherry toms
-pack of 4 leeks
- separate packs of
green beans, Mangetout & sugar snap peas
-bag of kale
-bag of spinach
-sprouted seeds
-1.5kg carrots
- Aubergine
-4 courgettes
-pack of chestnut mushrooms
-whole cauliflower
-brocolli
-stirfry veg mix pack
-shallots
-baby new spuds
So after nearly keeling over that he's spent half the grocery budget (to last until 15th feb) in one go and telling him off whilst laughing (he thought he had done well with the healthy veg!) this is our new meal plan, some still to be decided:
Sun: toad in hole, cauliflower, broc, green beans & roasted sweet potatoe wedges
Mon: tofu stir fry (stirfry veg mix, cabbage, leek, sprouted seeds)
Tues: Mediterranean veg pasta with mozzarella
Weds:Roasted veg lasagne
Thurs:tuna, pasta tomatoes and chopped veggies
Fri: white fish with butter sauce (unidentified in freezer- think it's saucy fish co pack) with new pots, green beans & any other veg. Fish veto' dude to both of us feeling poorly. Veggie stirfry with leftover tofu instead
Sat:
Sun:First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -
