  • Kittenkirst - your post had me and DH in laughter! As a family of 5 we wouldn't eat even half that veg!! Glad he's not been demoted to ex for it ;)

  • Meal plan for this week! DH is going to the USA on Saturday, and with DS at his dads next weekend I'm a bit undecided on meals.

Yesterday, we bought a home 'takeaway' from icelands. It's our first slip in 9 weeks. But we do like something special when DH is going away.

    Here is our meal plan:

Sat - HM Pea & Ham Soup
    Sun - @ Mum's for Birthday Meal
Mon - Sausages, Croqettes & Beans
    Tue - Freezer Surprise :S
    Wed - Chicken Jambalaya
Thu - LO Chilli with Natcho's and Sour Cream
Fri - Bratwurst, HM Tzaziki and Fresh Baked Rolls
    Sat -
Sun - Collecting DS, so most likely having Cheese on Toast at Mum's

Lunches for DD1 - Cheesy Pasta, Mini Omlettes, Mini Toad in the Hole, HM Soup (all made in the freezer), Cheese and cracker with tomatoes & Cucumber, scrambled eggs and cheese and tomato on toast.

Lunches DS - Sandwiches, HM Cake, fruit and crisps. Or Pasta Salad. School Dinner on Friday.

Lunches DH - Sandwiches, HM Cake & Fruit

Lunches ME - HM Soup, scrambled eggs with DD, Cheese on toast with DD.

    Breakfast - Toast & Cereal

Breakfast on Sat always includes Hard Boiled Eggs :)

    Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner DD2 - Milk!!

    Good Luck x

After a busy week last week and far too much eating and drinking, I'm planning a quiet and realatively healthy week this week! No booze or junk food, and lots of veg.

S - Roast stuffed belly pork with cabbage, carrots, sauteed potatoes, corn and gravy
    M - Veggie pizza
T - Bacon, mushroom and leek risotto
W - Pork chops with spaghetti in an onion and mushroom sauce
T - Pork and veg chow mein
    F - Paella
S - Roast beef and salad sandwiches, fruit, popcorn.
S - Chicken curry with rice and chapattis

Breakfasts will be cereal or toast, lunches will be soup, sandwiches or baked potatoes with tuna or cottage cheese. Snacks will be fruit and yogurt.

    Have a good week everyone!
