Kittenkirst - your post had me and DH in laughter! As a family of 5 we wouldn't eat even half that veg!! Glad he's not been demoted to ex for it ;)

I couldn't be too annoyed with him as he was dead pleased with himself for getting veggies (& lots of reduced price meat too) I have however explained a bit more about portion sizes e.g. That in a week I would usually use a bag of green beans, or sugar snap peas or Mangetout but not all three! :)

The cod with chorizo crust is sooooooo yummy! We have it on a fairly regular basis. Will let u know how I get on with the chicken one. I thoroughly recommend both books. Although I dont use them as diet plan. Just pick main meals out of them :)

  • I've still got a gap on Saturday, it's just me and DD1 eating. I'm having HM Tzaziki on Friday and I never eat more then half and it ends up in the bin. I suddenly thought that falafel goes well with Tzaziki and pitta bread, but I've never had it...

I've got chickpeas so I'm hoping not to buy anything...

Anyone had falafel? Are they nice? Anyone recommend a recipe?

So I made Mini Pizza for DD1 (slight change to the menu for her) I managed to make 10 from a batch of dough. I priced up the dough and ingredients and they come to 14p a pizza!!! I made them with 50% wholewheat and 50% white flour, passata, morzorella and cheddar. So nice and heathy for her :)

She had 1 pizza with mango and HM Yogurt for dessert :)
