Getting rid of smelly urine on clothes
DS2 (aged 9) has a urinary tract infection (well, got to phone the doctors back to get results of urine test on Thursday, but I'm pretty sure it is) and is wetting the bed, with really horrible smelling wee (hence the thought that he's got a UTI). He's on antibiotics, so should be feeling better soon. I've been washing…

How to get mildew off coloured bathroom blinds?
Hi, I have a lovely patterned blind in my bathroom, which is supposed to be mould and mildew resistant. Needless to say it now has mildew around the bottom and edges. I've tried looking for tips but most seem to include bleach, which I've not sure is a good idea as it's patterned fuschia and cream  Does anyone have…

Thinking about next week, and unusually dh is home midweek. we often have lots of Italian speciality foods for this time of year...bread of the dead (my fab) and dh's prefers bones of the dead, both delicious biscuits. In-Laws Don't Respect Our OS Beliefs - Help Please

We are just about to have a complete kitchen refurb (starting on Wednesday) and because the space the kitchen is in is open plan, and we are revamping the whole space including rewiring and plastering, the work is likely to take 6-8 weeks in total .
