Cleaning M&P Pramette/car seat

I need to clean up a pramette and car seat which has been stored in a garage. It has obviously been damp in there and there is the start of mildww on all the fabric bits. I have dowloaded all the instructions regarding maintenance etc. It says the fabric parts can be handwashed at 30 C using mild detergent. Will this be sufficient to remove the mildew? Any other suggestions welcome.

Iirc you can strip the seat of the fabric bits and when cleaned you can put it back together again.
To wash I would strip it down to the plastic, hand scrub the moldy bits in soapy water then bung them in the wash machine on a cool wash using a bit of wash powder (delicates if need be) with a white vinegar in the rinse cycle.
I think I did this with our old m & p car seat (pilko pramette set)0 -
I have spent the morning sorting out all the bits and pieces for this pram/car seat.
Having removed as many fabric parts as possible, I brushed all the mouldy/mildew bits really well, sprayed on Dettox Mould cleaner, left for 5 minutes then rinsed off in the bath.
I have now washed on a 30 C delicate wash, with soda crystals and detergent, vinegar in the conditoner drawer. I must say most of the mildew has disappeared with only one or two faint spots on the pram mattress. All pieces are now drying on the washing line.
Really pleased with the results, thanks to reading previous threads on here.:T0 -
I have managed to put all the covers back on correctly I think!
However, I am having an awful problem getting the safety harness fixed back correctly. I know that it has to screw into the chassis but it doesn't look correct. Anyone with a pramette that could post a couple of photos as to how the harness looks? Failing that I think I will need to pay a trip to a M&P stockist to have a look.0
