Hummingbird Bakery cupcakes help
Hi. Does anybody have The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook? I have tried to make the vanilla cupcakes several times and have stuck to the recipe rigidly but they come out dense, sticky and taste eggy. They don't rise vey well either (I don't think there is enough for 12 cakes but again I wanted to stick the recipe). What I…

What a mess. Please help
I tend to percieve this board as the font of all knowledge. If anyone can help with this I know it will be one of you old stylers. How do I get printer ink (probably black) off a white quilted throw?  The ink has already dried and I haven't tried anything yet because I'm worried it will make it worse. Please…

Freezing Soup. Sounds easy but I have a problem!
Hi everyone, I love making soup and then freezing it in 1 portion batches for lunches, emergencies etc. I usually put each portion in a sandwich bag with a seal thing. The only problem is that when you put them in the freezer they either 'lock' onto each other as they freeze - resulting in a 20 portion mountain of soup -…

So does anyone have a clue what this…

Fireplace help
I don't know which forum I should post this into, but hopefully someone here will be able to help. I want to use our fire, but can't get it lit. Crocheting a jumper without a pattern
Is this advisable? I can't find a pattern I like. I don't want anything fancy, just a plain jumper made up in double crochet. Explosion in the freezer
I have done a very silly thing. :o Yesterday I put a can of coke in the freezer to cool off. I forgot about it and went to bed. The can of coke froze and then exploded - forcing the freezer door open. This morning I closed the freezer door (and cleaned up the mess). But some of the food at the front of the freezer had…
