Roll Over Cookery
With a view to fuel economy, I wonder if we could start a new thread for what I call Roll Over Cookery, whereby we cook a double quantity of certain foods with a view to having the cooked base ready for a different meal the next day, reducing time and fuel. If we had a wide range of these meals at our fingertips I suspect…

Removing Oil Stains
My DD has covered her jacket in oil from the locks at Foxton Locks. I rubbed the stain with washing up liquid and soaked it in cold water for several hours before machine washing it. The oil stain hasn't budged at all. It is on one of those Regatta outdoor type coats. Any idea of how I might shift it? Thanks, Chell
