Help, I need some meal planning inspiration!!!
Hey all, I am trying to find some new meals to make for OH, myself and our baby. I don't eat meat and rarely cook meat for dinner, though I sometimes buy OH a treat now and again. My meal time faves include veggie mince chilli and bolognese, shepherds pie, plenty of pasta and different home made sauces, I use a lot of…

Bra extenders and underwires
I have some lovely bras, which are comfy for the first 20 minutes. I wish they had a bit more give in the back and suddenly realised that I had seen an ad for bra extenders somewhere. Anyone tried them? Talking about bras: I have a real gripe with underwires that come up too high at the sides. Has anyone ever had a go at…

Cleaning query
I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find stuff when I search. I've been dilligently using up all my old cleaning products for ages. Today was the day to try the old style mix ! Into an old spray bottle I put about an inch of distilled malt vinegar (the colourless type) an inch of stardrops and topped up with…

Hand Sewing Patchwork

I would need a thimble for my thumb. Does anyone know if such a thing exists and perhaps where I could obtain one. Its not a quilting thimble…

Really stupid question about line-drying
I've never had a washing line before, and I've never been very keen on them so I have no idea how to use one! Do you leave stuff out there overnight? Or do you have to wash early in the day so you can get it in before night? I've just put one up for washable nappies really, and they can take a long time to dry, but I hate…
