Bed bugs - HELP!!
Okay, I have (very suddenly) gotten what I am 99% sure are bed bugs. Now I've been googling ways to get rid of them and mostly it says to use an exterminator - just wanted to ask here if there are any Old Style ways to get rid of bed bugs, after all they aren't a new spieces. Any advice would be welcome as I am freaked out!

Is it possible to re-enamel Pointerware pans?

Lime pickle - how high to fill jars
I've just made a batch of lime pickle, and have made about 4 jars worth. I thoroughly washed and rinsed the jars, and the heated them in an oven at approx 130 oC for 15 mins. I then poured the heated lime pickle into the jars. 3 of the jars I filled to approx 2 mm away from the rim of the jars (i.e. right up near the lid).…
