Turning the sheets inside out (sides to middle)
Hi all Today I have made myself proud as an OSer and really wanted to pass this on! The bottom sheet of our double bed tore right in the middle because it is very old, but it is a good quality very large 100% cotton sheet (we have a very large bed as we both like loads of space). To buy another one new would have cost us…

Water Marks
Does anyone know how to remove water marks from upholstery - my rear car window was slightly open the other day and the rain got in and left a really horrible mark on the seat. Presumably more water might leave a bigger mark? It looks like someone has had an accident! Cheers

Hi everyone, got a bit of a dilemma:o I made a GIGANTIC chilli but without really thinking about the consequences used 2 LARGE cloves of ever so slightly OLD garlic which smelt a bit musty. I foolishly thought it would be killed by the cooking but no...the whole pot is smelling and tasting badly of this mustiness. I have…

Cleaning Stone
I've not seen anyone else post about this - but apologies if it's been done. I've discovered the Lidl W5 Cleaning Stone and it's absolutely brilliant! Forget the word "Stone" as that's completely misleading. If you like Astonish, think of a solid dry block of Astonish in a pot, with a sturdy sponge. Wet the sponge, rub it…
