Hi everyone, got a bit of a dilemma:o I made a GIGANTIC chilli but without really thinking about the consequences used 2 LARGE cloves of ever so slightly OLD garlic which smelt a bit musty. I foolishly thought it would be killed by the cooking but no...the whole pot is smelling and tasting badly of this mustiness. I have added lots more chilli and tomato puree but wondered if anyone has any suggestions as to anything else I could add to make it a bit more palatable? I cannot bear to throw it away

Try a dollop of ketchup? I always find ketchup jives up my spaghetti bologneses.Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.0

You could also try adding some fresh garlic to see if it over powers it.0
