Need something to make houmous
I'm a big fan of homemade houmous but as much as I hate to admit it this is the one thing my Kenwood Chef cannot seem to make. Can anyone recommend something that will mash up the chickpeas for me? I'm loathe to buy a food processor as my KC does absolutely everything else for me. I have an old model A701 so I cannot use…

Need New Dough Blade for Panasonic
Hi All, My Panasonic's dough blade has got ruined today. It came off during a dough cycle, and had clearly worked it's way up the spindle, only to get 'rounded off' by the rotating action of the spindle, so now I know it won't stay on during a cycle. Fortunately I do have the spare blade for use with fruit loaves/cake…

Advice on re-freezing beans
Hi everyone, Tonight I made Red Dragon Pie with some cooked and frozen Aduki beans, there is a lot of filling left, but don't know whether it is safe to freeze as the beans were previously frozen and defrosted. (I didn't really cook the beans that were left much, just added them to the rest of the hot leftover filling)…

What can I do with one gammon steak?
To make it into a meal for 2 or 3 people? I have one in the freezer, but I rarely cook for just one person, so I want to stretch it a bit :D I was thinking of maybe some sort of pasta bake, but I am not very good at making up recipes. I have looked at the recipes on here, but haven't found anything. Thanks in advance.

Smelly Clothes

Wild Welsh Poppy Seeds.
We have a few wild welsh poppies growing out of the bottom of our wall. Their seed pods are lovely and full. I'm making some rolls today - should I scatter the seeds in the back garden in the hope they grow? Or should I scatter them on the top of the rolls? Are they okay to eat? I seem to be unable to make a…
