I had a £3 voucher so thought I'd give this a try - and I have to say my feelings are very mixed. I found it a real faff to start with because the blinds swayed all over the place (as they always do when you're trying to clean the darned things) , trying to get the vacuum hose in the right position was a challenge and really to manouvre the hose, hold the brush end and hold the blinds I needed three hands.
Was about to take it back for a refund when I thought of trying to use it just as a brush without attaching it to the vaccuum cleaner - and it worked a treat! If you hold it up not flat (IYSWIM) then you can brush about 3 slats at a time and you still have a hand free to keep the blind steady.
I love the privacy our blinds provide, but ohhhhh how I hate, detest and loathe trying to keep them dust free and clean....I have 12 foot wide windows so you can imagine how difficult it is to clean venetian blinds that size !!!!:mad::rolleyes:
Of course if someone else has a better idea I'd love to hear about it but as things stand the lakeland brush is the best thing I've tried so far and quicker than dusting each slat individually with a cloth - it's just no good as a vacuum attachment! :rotfl:People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading
