what to do with tom sauce from pilchards?
We buy quite a lot of tinned pilchards. DD likes them in lasgane or quiche and they make quite nice toppings for pizza or just for eating with salad or in sandwiches but there is always a lot of tomatoey/fishy sauce with them. Cooking and freezing chicken
I'm going to cook a chicken, and then strip the carcase so I can freeze the meat for use in salad pots (etc). Is it there anything I need to do to keep the meat in as near to 'just cooked' condition as possible?

Hello, My girlfriend is moving in with me at the end of June and so I am trying to expand my choice of recipes but will be skint for the next couple of months.
