Dont forget folks that marinades dont have to be overnight, 3 hours can be enough if you are in a panic.
Cut chicken in goujon sized pieces. Mix tablespoonful olive oil, table spoonof soy sauce, half teaspoon comprising cumin, chinese 5 spice, chili powder, and finely chopped garlic clove. Stir mixture, add chicken. Cover with freezer bag or plastic bag and return to fridge. Perfect for a quick and tasty stir fry after a few hours.
The dregs in the marinade bowl can be swirled with water and a tiny amount of cornflour. Add to cooking chicken and season with salt and pepper to taste.Keep trying.........................what else is there to do?
