In the fridge, I usually keep it opened for a week or more. (a lot longer has been known!) If it smells or looks any different than normal - chuck it out! I use a lot of 'out-of-date' stuff past its date though - as do many others on here

Like WG I keep my opened yogurt for ages in the fridge, it is only a soured type of milk after all, usual caveats of smell, look etc as WG saysGardener’s pest is chef’s escargot0

It should be OK for three days once opened although I wouldn't touch any yogurt once it was opened, you just don't know where it has been!
My family has a frightening tale of woe concerning an uncle who regularly dipped into a part-used natural yogurt from the fridge. After a few weeks of sneaking spoonfuls of said yogurts his wife asked him to stop scarffing it cos it was for medical purposes and she was fed up with having to replace it to dab on her unmentionables.:rotfl: My uncle promptly grew a very bushy beard:eek: Whether this was due to yogurt cross-use we shall never know as the incident is now only spoken of in hushed tones with much twitching of eyebrows.Life's a beach! I've just finished a carton of Greek yoghurt which had been open for 4 days and it was fine.;)
MATH, lovely to "see" you! We really miss you on the Daily thread!:D0 -
Greek yoghurt seems to keep very well, so its simply a case of checking its ok. The one we have in the fridge has been there just over a week and is still fine.Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3650
