Sainsburys strong white bread flour?
Anybody had a problem with this flour? Whenever I use it in my SD253 the loaves seem to collapse. Is it a flour problem or am I doing something else wrong? MTIA.

Does clover go bad?
I recently got a costco card, so in order to maximise savings, I bought a huge tub of Clover spread. I had some on toast today(just clover), the first slice was really nice but the second was awful! I looked on the tub- BB 15th December :eek: It smells okay, so can I use it in a cake or just throw it away :(

Would you eat this?
A quick look in the freezer has revealed a bonus portion of chicken stock and... ....A BONUS CHICKEN! But, the expiry date is December 06. It's been frozen since the day I bought it (I assume). If I eat it, will I be ill? Fancy forgetting about a whole chicken. No wonder I'm skint!

Making french bread - need help
I've made the dough for my french bread in the BM, got it rising in my french bread tin, but I want to put poppy seeds on one of them. What do the shops coat them in to make the seeds stay put? I was thinking water of milk but not sure. I want them super crunchy. Does anyone know?
