Did anyone watch come dine with me, I missed it and am gutted. Apparently there was a receipe for satay on there that got rav reviews. I would love to get this receipe. Can't seem to locate it on the channel 4 website. Can anyone help me out where the show is being held (in which city) this week so I can narrow the search?

This was bought from Tesco and has a date of tomorrow on it. I bought it for OH who wanted it to put on the Stollen that my Mum gave us (its been sliced and is in the freezer). Is there much to be gain by....
Knocking the dishwasher off before it starts the drying cycle? I don't always do it, but if I'm in the kitchen I do. Also re energy-saving lightbulbs. Since they're effectively mini fluorescents does that mean that once they're on they're best left on? Or is it the starter on normal fluorescent bulbs that uses all the…

Another slow cooker question! -Auto setting?
Hi, sorry, I have yet another slow cooker question: Was looking at some today and I'd been under the impression that most of them have an 'auto' setting. However it seems this is a feature only on the more expensive ones. A book I've been reading seems to recommend using 'auto' when cooking meat as it is necessary to get…
