Can I cook apples in the slow cooker?

I bought a slow cooker today. Rosemary Conley' s energi (her spelling not mine)slow cooker for £17.50 from tesco. I have done a search on here and can't find how to cook apples in the slow cooker. Also can someone tell me how to find the recipe thread its disappeared - want to cook sausages in it tomorrow. Thanks in advance

Sorry, I can't help with the apples in the slow cooker but to find the recipe thread go to the the top of the front page on Old Style, immediately under the Old Style (Thrifty) Resource bar, there is a list of Old Style links and if you click on Indexed Collections, it is listed there.
