Tea and Cakes Party

I am having a tea and cakes party for my daughters birthday.
It will be attended by adults as she is very young and wanted just to do a few cakes with a cup of tea.
Will have to have fairy cakes, but would like to use up some Xmas ingredients in the other cakes.
I have 1/2 tin of chestnut puree and have found a nice looking chestnut chelsea bun recipe to try.
I also have 4 lemons and lots and lots of eating and cooking apples.
I would like to make some individual cakes or tarts which use them up.
Any ideas??

There is a recipe somewhere on here for home made lemon curd and you could make jam tarts?"This site is addictive!"

Lemon Drizzle Cake is lovely - very easy as well and doesn't use loads of different ingredients, the best recipe is from marry Berry.
Then there is Nigella's Lemon Ice Cream.... It's on her website.0
