IKEA cinnamon bun pudding

I made a pudding yesterday using the last of the Christmas cream and treats. It was yummy. Basically it is a variation on a bread and butter pudding using a packet of Cinnamon buns from IKEA. (You buy them in the food shop - red and cream packet). There are no exact quantities as I was using bits and bobs, but you get the idea! Be warned - it is very morish. Myself and OH polished off the lot yesterday:o
1 packet IKEA cinnamon buns
1 egg
2 egg yolks
cream ( I used all the single cream I had left - about 2/3 of a pot)
full fat milk
sugar - about half a cup
Grease your dish with butter. Arrange the cinnamon buns in dish ( I used the whole packet). Mix the cream, eggs, sugar and milk in a bowl. I used enough milk to make the mixture up to a pint. Pour over the buns. I also put a couple of dots of butter around on top but you could get away with not doing this. Cover with foil and bake in the oven at about 180 C. Check after about 20 mins then if it looks nearly done take off the foil for the last few mins to brown up the top.
Eat and enjoy! We ate ours with leftover Vianetta:rotfl:
