I want to clean my v mucky candlesticks but am not sure what to use - they are silver coloured but am pretty sure not silver plate or anything like that (let alone silver!) so wary of using silver polish as read that it strips off the outer layer which might reveal who knows what with these. Also, does anyone have any tips…

He pays for his car (I don't drive)…

I can't cook, can you help please?
Hi everyone. I think I need some help in the kitchen department. I love the idea of making everything myself. I wish so much I could be one of those women who produces wonderful things from a bag of flour but the fact is, I'm awful. I try really hard to follow recipes, but things never come out as they should. The other…

Soooo bored! Need household tasks to do....
Well, as of last week I lost my job. I've got over the moping and worrying stage, and now I'm at the I'm so bored stage! As we are moving out next month the job centre basically told me looking for a job is pointless (not a great deal of agency work here in mid Wales!). So, I need a good load of housework to do. I'm…

Kenwood Kenmix - are they any good?
A Kenwood chef simply isn't in the budget and I'm having no joy with Freecycle thus far. Is the Kenwood Kenmix any good? I know it won't be as beefy as a Chef, but for a single girl I can cope with that. Mostly, I want to know if the Kenmix will stand up to kneading bread dough - anybody have one?
