Hello, I'm sorry if this sort of thing has been asked before but I couldn't see anything. I have decided to bite the bullet and try to do weight watchers again (although being a Money saver I won't actually be going to the meetings - just doing it on my own with the information I already have and my weight watchers…

Crisp & Dry cooking fat????
My son has just asked me how long he can keep using the same 'Crisp & dry' in his chip pan. I don't cook chips anymore (sometimes wedges), so can't answer his question. Does anyone know? As I remember I used to cook chips about once a week and drained the fat through a sieve with a piece of kitchen roll on and clean out…

Plastic bath
Ok, I've tried searching and I cant find anything relevant so here goes: We had a new plastic type bath put in in November - it is actually some kind of reinforced plastic but the surface, where you clean, is plastic. I started off using a gentle washing up liquid and a flannel to clean it, but that was hard work. So, a…

Chemical Free Cleaning for health
Hi, I'm really interested in giving up all my normal cleaning products and trying to use only chemical free ones. I suffer from M.E. and have heard that this could improve my health. Plus I worry about exposure to all the nasty stuff they put in them anyway. We've recently gone organic with all our food so would like this…

No laughing - knitting patterns needed for jumper for elderly whippets
Not quite sure how I got myself volunteered for this but basically I'm trying to knit jumpers for elderly whippets (please no laughing). They just get into a complete mess with normal bed coats so jumpers were the answer to stop them feeling the cold (they feel the cold more so than most dogs). I've looked on the web and…

Braun Clean & Charge - cheap refill?
Hi, I have one of those Braun electric shavers that sits in a base unit and then clenas itself using a lemony smelling alcohol from a cartridge in the base. The replacement cartridges are £7.49 for two and it strikes me that you could quite simply empty out and refill them with say surgical spirit (perhaps afetr infusing…

Hi, everyone :) Ok, we'll give this a trial, and I'll sticky this one for a little while to help people find it. It would be a good idea to add it to your favourites (bookmark it). While the title says "ANYTHING" I really mean "ANYTHING OLD STYLE" but don't want to make the title up there too long. So, if you have a quick…
