Chemical Free Cleaning for health

Hi,
I'm really interested in giving up all my normal cleaning products and trying to use only chemical free ones. I suffer from M.E. and have heard that this could improve my health. Plus I worry about exposure to all the nasty stuff they put in them anyway. We've recently gone organic with all our food so would like this to be the next step.
My question is does anyone know the best way to go about this, could I get by on vinegar/lemon juice etc or are there products which I could buy which are chemical free, have heard of ecover, would that fit the bill? I'm also wondering how far to take it, should I be using special washing powder and even toiletries.
I know the question is a bit general but any advice at all would be great. Has anyone else tried doing this? Thanks

Hi there, i myself would like to go completely natural with everything- food, cleaning and beauty products- surely all these chemicals are doing something to us!
Anyway, i know that marks and spencers have got a new completely natural cleaning range out, and Ecovers really good. You can also use those ecoballs for washing, although ive never tried them.0 -
Remember your microfibre cloths. Even just damp with no extra cleaning agents they work wonders!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

I have made bottle of my own cleaner using borax & essential oils for fragrance and its fab. Other than that I use vinegar, lemon juice with elbow grease and microfibre clothes.

borax = Sodium borate
Vinegar = Ethanoic acid
Lemon Juice = Citric acid
Remember that all matter is made up of chemicals, so you need to be thinking about what particular chemicals you want to avoid.0
