Aargh! Got Turmeric on my Lilac Top!

Its something I have never managed to get out - anyone have any ideas? Its only just happened when I tested a teaspoon of the curry in the SC!

hi i recently spilt curry on a turquoise top my friends mum said soak in cold water over night - i then washed it think i put some vanish on it too - i did wash it 3 times but it did come out0

To remove a turmeric stain, first clean with methylated spirit and then place the object in sunlight.One day I might be more organised...........

i have dusters made from a black and white top that got tumeric on the white bit! loved the top, tried soaking, bicarb, vinegar-anything and then actually bought (shudder!) stain remover- but no joy, hence snazzy black'n'white dusters!0
