Plastic bath

Ok, I've tried searching and I cant find anything relevant so here goes:
We had a new plastic type bath put in in November - it is actually some kind of reinforced plastic but the surface, where you clean, is plastic. I started off using a gentle washing up liquid and a flannel to clean it, but that was hard work. So, a couple of times I used a bathroom cleaner and one of those sponges that has a soft side and a harsher side. I used the harsh side. Now I have noticed that there is a hint of a scum line round the bath even after it's been cleaned - do you think I've scratched the surface? What SHOULD I be using to clean it anyway?

Use neat bubble bath or shampoo, scum around the bath is old dirty soap ( amongst other things);) and like-attracts-like:D
If you have any old tights, cut off a piece of the leg and put a bit of of bath sponge inside, this is a very gentle way of scrubbing things you are worried about scratching;)0 -
thanks for the tip about the tights guineapig, i have been using old flannels.
and a good way of using up bubble bath that i dont like.Ellie :cool:
