Replacing broken crockery
The other day my DH broke one of my plates. I bought them about 3 years ago from sainsburys - the olive plate design. Sainsburys no longer stock it. In the past I remember hearing about somewhere that you could access old designs and perhaps replace pieces - does anyone know about this?

Roast potatoes in yogurt
Sorry if this is up somewhere else, I couldn't find it. We make our roast potatoes and parsnips in natural yogurt instead of oil. Just paint them with yogurt before you stick them in the oven, but do it after you pre boil them :D They come out lovely and once you get used to them, you will notice how oily they were before.

Olive Oil & Parmasan Cheese Recommendations
Since November I estimate that I've used about £45 worth of parmasan cheese and a gallon of olive oil. When I buy the parmasan cheese I try and get a good one. Morrisons do a nice organic one, but its horrendously expensive. For olive oil I just buy whatever's in the shop (it was sainsburys own last time). I'm therefore…

Why did my dough go wrong?
Hello everyone :) I bought a breadmaker (Morphy Richards FB) at the beginning of January and honestly it's probably the best money I've spent in a very long time. Haven't bought a single loaf since! I've been eating nothing but wholemeal and loved every slice so thought I'd try white rolls (for bacon in the morning …

My porridge problems are over
In common with a recent poster I've had to spend time and elbow grease on cleaning up a porridge pan a couple of times recently when the porridge baked on when my back was turned. Nearly did it again today and after a bit of a think I decided I needed a double-boiler (also called porringers). As I was going to town anyway…

Lakeland antibacterial cloths.
Hi Guys, I've been 'wanting' these for a wee while now, but as they don't come cheap a bit unsure as to whether I should get them. My dishcloths are all more holey than godly now (IYKWIM) and I should replace them. I'm a bit 'sad' in the respect that I like my dishcloths to retain their shape after washing so that they can…

Chewy Seed Health Bars
I made these, using Toxic Lemon's recipe, and they are yummy - best not to count the calories though. (Recipe on an earlier thread about Tray Bakes.) However, I probably should have made half the quantity, as suggested, since there are only 3 of us. Toxic Lemon - if you are about - is there any reason why some can't be…
