Freezing Avocado?

Was wondering if anyone has any tips for this? I love avocado and usually it is way too expensive for my tight budget but atm its half price and i was wondering if i bought a few is there any way of freezing it?

Make some guacamole and freeze that. Just give it a good stir when you have thawed it out. It may lose the bright green colour but the flavour should be fine.0

I just mash up the avocado, into a freezer bag, and then into the freezer. The trick is to get all the air out of the bag - it's the air that discolours the avocado.0
