Just cleaned all my silver cutlery by putting in a large casserole dish on the hob with balls of silver foil, and heating. Cake without eggs?
I'm suffering from a horribly sweet tooth this morning and NEED to make some cake. Just one slight problem. I haven't got any eggs in the fridge. I don't suppose anyone's got a recipe for a yummy cake that doesn't need eggs? I've got most of the basics in stock: milk, butter, flour, sugar etc.

identify this vegetable please
Hi, in my veg box tonight I received a sort of leek type vegetable. It has a more bulbous end than a regular leek and has pinky red streaks through it. The top has been cut off so there is only the white and light green part and there was only one of them. Anyone know what variety this is? Or is it even a leek? :confused:…

Hi all, I am supposed to stick to a dairy free diet (haha, i manage it most of the time!) and only eat small amounts of chicken and fish. I really really love ocean pie, but its loaded with dairy products!! Does anyone have a recipe for a non dairy version - not asking much i know eh :p xxx
