bodywork repair
Does anyone have any idea what kind of price the following repair will cost? I reversed into a small bollard recently and it has left a dint in the rear bumper of my 2002 MINI cooper in racing green. It is on the right side luckily none of the metal bodywork is affected its just the plastic bumper! Thanks for any help

Whilst in for repair, the garage phoned to tell me that the wiring loom beneath the steering column was burnt/melted and the indicators weren't working. They've had an auto electrician in whos said its serious and will…

Mechanics ? Would a pothole do this to a freelander ?
Ok, was happily trundling along and hit a massive pothole. Thought I heard the underneath of the car scrape but everything seemed ok. Continued along for about six miles and the car died. It's was recovered to the local garage that looks after it and I've now got it back. Cost just short of £600. Parts replaced camshaft…

Any idea what could cause my car problem?
Driving on dual carriageway today, I slowed down to leave via sliproad and the car (Renault Clio) started feeling 'stuttery'. It didn't seem to have much power when I accelerated again. It's continued like this ever since. It's worse in the lower gears and not as bad in 4th/5th gear. I also heard a grating sound whilt…

V5 form received but wrong name?
My partner bought a car from someone a couple of weeks ago, the V5 form just turned up and they have put the name down as Sined and not Simon. Now my partner wouldn't have got his name wrong so think it could have been the one he bought it from. What can be done? and would it cost my partner to rectify if it wasn't his…

I've had the car tracked once or twice when I've bought a new tyre but…
