I have just got in from shopping, whilst out I saw several petrol stations with very long queues. From what I heard it was drivers from one company (Shell) who are on strike not everyone! What is wrong with these people do they have brains the size of peas?

Used car warranty
I'm thinking of getting a used car from cargiant (2002 car with 42000 milage) and cargiant quote 3 yrs '5 star mechanical breakdown warranty' with AA - I'm not sure if I should take that up? Is AA warranty good? Also if I don't take that up, will it be cheaper if I get one myself? Any recommendation? Thanks.

I have rented a car through Toyota. I've had the car for a couple of weeks and the other day I noticed a pretty big crack had developed in the windshield. Do I just return the car and explain what happened (I don't know how the crack got there, I'm guessing a truck flipped up a pebble or something) to the rental agency,…

Managed to save £12/week average on fuel.
I thought I'd share some of the cost cutting methods I've recently attempted in order to reduce my weekly petrol bills. I travel on average 370 miles per week by car, driving a 1600cc petrol Vauxhall Astra, at which I calculated was returning 37.5mpg (calculation based on 4 weeks of normal driving in the month of April).…

Quality Bike, Best Features for the Fairest Price
I'm just wondering if there are any bike experts out there... I really like the Land Rover G4 Dual Mountain Bike 2008 Full Suspension MTB, I'm just wondering if I would be paying more for the brand name than anything else that the bike features? http://www.tredz.co.uk/ProductDetail.asp?ProductCatalogue=16849

I got a notification for my first ever speeding ticket recently, 34 in a 30 :-( I'll admit I did think about trying to wriggle out of it, but I am pretty sure that I probably was driving, and I…
