Would you fix?
I have 6½yrs remaining on my mortgage. I currently have a FD offset mortgage, discounted at .19% above base rate, which goes back to SVR (currently 6.25%) in about 18mths. I could fix my rate for 10yrs with FD at 5.49% for a cost of £395. What would you do?
