I have 6½yrs remaining on my mortgage. I currently have a FD offset mortgage, discounted at .19% above base rate, which goes back to SVR (currently 6.25%) in about 18mths.
I could fix my rate for 10yrs with FD at 5.49% for a cost of £395.
What would you do?

Personally I would fix the rate though if you've 6.5 years left, why are talking about a 10 year fix?"I don't mind if a chap talks rot. But I really must draw the line at utter rot." - PG Wodehouse0
