Early contract termination: faulty phone & bad service
Hi, I have a 36-month mobile contract with Tesco. I still have 13 months left on it. I won't be renewing it because the customer service in store is appalling: just your typical clowns taking the mick out of customers and talking nonsense in ear-shot of customers. I won't be stepping foot in their mobile shop again because…

Xaiomi Poco F2 or Mi 9T Pro
I'm not really into handsets as such (always get employer provided iphone). My other half has a Mi 9T pro and doesn't know I have a Poco F2 coming. Is the Poco better, or not so, in comparison to the 9T pro. I ask as my wife will likely try and get her hands on the Poco when it arrives, which would be better phone in an…

PAC information text told me £0 would be payable but final bill has £225 of early termination fees
I recently upgraded my Virgin Media package to Ultimate Oomph which came with an unlimited data phone SIM (weirdly the deal was cheaper with the SIM than without). I wasn't originally planning to use it as I still had a SIM only unlimited data plan with Three with some months left to go, but out of interest I checked the…

New EE customer sim deals
Used to be with EE (for 10+ years) but decided to switch last year to 3, as EE wouldn’t budge on the upgrade package and was expensive in comparison to over providers (I’m now currently on the 3 sim only package at £10/ month). 3 have been ok but service/coverage generally not been as good as I had hoped and looking to…

Absolutely shocking I have had nothing but trouble over the last two weeks. They are nothing but devious. Pay as you go 5G
I recently got myself a shiny new OnePlus Nord. I have never seen the point of getting a 5G sim in for 2 reasons, 1)5G won't roll out to my area for a long while, and 2) from what I've heard online O2 (the network my Mvno runs off) and OnePlus don't work well with 5G. I am planning to go to Wimbledon next year to see a…

Can I use any mobile sim as a Data SIM for a mobile broadband, or does it have to be a specific one
Hi, I am in the market for a new "Data SIM" to use for mobile broadband via a wifi-dongle and wireless router. Could be PAYG or contract but I am leaning towards contract. I want to use it for: 1. As a backup for my main (Sky) broadband, as we are both WFH currently and need internet access. 2. When "out and about" (once…

Tesco Mobile web/Doro Top-up query
I have recently purchased a 'pay as you go' Doro 5516 mobile phone from a local Tesco store, who set up the owner number and who also appear to have activated a £10 top-up voucher. I subsequently setup a corresponding account at https://topup.tescomobile.com, and added a further £10 top-up ('WEB Topup' is shown as…
