Sky mobile (Faulty iPhone)

Not sure if this site can help but nothing ventured nothing gained!!
I have 3 phone contracts with Sky mobile and my son's iphone is only 7 months old before it developed a fault Lines and blocks of colour appearing on the screen and a non responsive screen, the fault itself is very intermittent. Sky advised to send the phone to their repair service in Norfolk. I have sent the phone on 3 occasions and each time they have not been able to replicate the issue and shortly after getting the phone back from them the fault appears again. I contacted Sky and was advised that I go to Apple direct which I did. They wanted the phone so I sent it off and they did what ever they had to do but again could not replicate the error. The phone was sent back and again shortly afterwards the fault appeared again. So, the phone was sent to the Czech Republic where it was tested again and wow no fault was found. On receiving the phone the 2nd time, we set up the phone and its been working well however today the fault has come back and now I'm at a loss on what to do. Apple and Sky will only say send in the phone into them and they'll do any tests but I know for a fact the fault will not replicate itself and will be sent back to us.
This whole situation is an absolute farce!!! I have asked Sky for a replacement mobile but they will not budge because they want to see the fault happen in real time but as I said its very intermittent and cannot guarantee it happening on demand.
Has anyone had this sort of experience with either companies and can give me some advice.on how to get this resolved!
I dont really want to got o Sky and say I'm leaving but feel that this is the only way to get a result!!!!

When the fault happens again use one of your other mobiles and video what the issue is.
send them the video stating that you have sent them the phone several times and unless they replace the phone you want a letter of deadlock so you can esculate the matter.
correct me if i'm wrong but i believe CISAS are the regolator1 -
Dont leave SKY without paying of your network contract .Probably result in debt passed to recovery and credit record trashed .Contract will be for xx months network not phone .0
