Upgrade or switch ?
I have an old iPhone which I've had for about 6 years. I took over the Vodafone contract from a friend who was moving overseas. I'm not sure if they made a mistake transferring the account, but although I pay the bills by direct debit, I never get any offers or deals from Vodafone, and when the contract ran out they never…

£380 charges for internet usage in 6 months on a £7 a month sim!!
I set my 85 year old mum up on a £7 a month sim only contract as she can't really use the phone due to vascular dementia and certainly cannot use the internet, but wanted to be able to call her more easily. It included 250mb of data but this was not really needed. When checking her bank account for her recently I was…

Hi all Im looking for a bit of advice on how to proceed with the following stressful situation. Back in early February, I had my phone stolen. Cooling off period administration fee
I understand that administration fees are common if cancelling insurance policies within the 14 days cooling off period, but are they permitted if changing mind about a physical item bought online like a phone? Wondamobile.com appears to charge £30 administration fee for the purchase of a phone (with no accompanying…

EE ending 3p dialacode calls on 5 May 2020
Just seen a text from EE saying the 3ppm dialacode service is ending from 5 May 2020. I notice in their price guide that bypass services via 0775522 are listed as 3ppm as well, but I'm not sure if these are ending too.Quite useful to keep a SIM active using these cheap calls.

EE 4GEE Wifi excessive data usage
I have a 50gb per month plan which is my main internet access. This gets me through most months - sometimes I watch a bit more online video and have to buy a little more data, and other times I have unused data at the end of the month (which doesn't roll over), so I think the plan is right for my usual activities. Suddenly…

Best deal for EU travel and calling EU from the UK
My mobile provider has just informed me that it has changed some Ts&Cs and I can cancel if I wish... I’m on a relatively costly business tariff, which is fine in the context of my company’s spending. My work involves lots of travel within the EU during which I call UK and other EU numbers, but also lots of calls to EU…

EU call charges
I have recently escaped Spain after spending nearly three months there. My mobile contract is with Giffgaff which provides two months free roaming/calls while out of the UK so, to avoid extra costs, I purchased a Spanish SIM (which included international calls) and used that for the last couple of weeks - when, of course,…

Cancelling three contract within the 14 day cool off period, but I used a lot of data
Hello! Last week I signed up for an unlimited 4G mobile broadband contract, which includes a Huawei 4G router. For a number of reasons, I now want to cancel this contract. I'm still within the 14 day period, so I understand by law I am able to cancel the contract at no cost. However, throughout the returns policy and T&Cs…

Should O2 accept any responsibility?
This is an embarrassing admission. I’ve been in a contract with O2 for about 15/16 years. I started paying £29.99 monthly, I think. The cost, over time has risen to £36.36 per month. I am still using the same phone. It is a slider phone - I think it is a Samsung SGH D600. Over that period (15/16 years), I’ve probably sent…
