I have an old iPhone which I've had for about 6 years. I took over the Vodafone contract from a friend who was moving overseas. I'm not sure if they made a mistake transferring the account, but although I pay the bills by direct debit, I never get any offers or deals from Vodafone, and when the contract ran out they never contacted me about renewing or upgrading. I now really need a new phone because the battery is dying and the IOS is outdated. I am happy with the tariff I'm on, but I don't want to pay £800 for a new iPhone outright. Ideally I'd stay on the same tariff with Vodafone and just get a newer phone on the same contract. Can anyone suggest whether I should contact Vodafone direct or if I could get a deal with my existing company through uswitch ?

They don't always contact you when the contract runs out.
it just goes to a 30 day contract in other words if you want to leave to go to a different network provider then you have to give vodafone 30 days notice.
Best bet is to ring them and ask if they will match uswitch offer if they do all well and good.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.1
