Broadband Charge

Go easy I'm a newbie

I'm paying £68 a month for broadband with Virgin Media. They gave me TV, landline and spare sim card, all of which I never asked for or wanted. Been with them over 14 years. Am I being robbed?

I only want broadband

Thanks in advance

    Probably .

When things have returned to normal try haggling with them.

A move to non virgin broadband at this time is not advisable , BT openreach do most of the work and it's not priority work

Why have you accepted? they don't just give you it when they feel like it.
I pay nearly £100 a month to sky and don't have no skyq or sports or multi room.
all depends what speed broadband you are getting from Virgin i bet it's faster than mine
There broadband is expensive but you do get really good speeds so thats where most of the money is going i would of thought.
After all said and done your best bet is to ring them and tell them if you have only just got it.

So you must have agreed to this deal even though you might not have realised it. Check your contract and the date that you have signed up until. Its unlikely VM will let you cancel early without paying up.You say you don't need the sim but the sim they give with the Oomp pack is limitless data, text and minutes.  However you need to see in your contract how much VM are going to charge you once the  initial contract comes to an end.
