EE ending 3p dialacode calls on 5 May 2020
Just seen a text from EE saying the 3ppm dialacode service is ending from 5 May 2020. I notice in their price guide that bypass services via 0775522 are listed as 3ppm as well, but I'm not sure if these are ending too.
Quite useful to keep a SIM active using these cheap calls.

I would think very few. The mobile termination rate is capped by Ofcom at less than 0.5p per minute. This leaves no headroom to finance call-forwarding to international destinations and make a profit on the calls.
Ofcom's mobile termination rate cap applied initially to the big five, now four, main providers, but was extended in April/May 2015 to cover ALL UK mobile numbers starting 071-075 and 077-079.0
