EU Mobile Phone Roaming.
Some reports I have read say the end of roaming charges in the EU will start on 15th June. The BBC are more cautious and say it has got to be ratified http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-38825154 How will this work? I suppose until Brexit all EU will be treated like the UK is now so Data Roaming can still be switched off.…

Haggling with EE
Rang EE today to haggle 4 contracts. They wouldn't match the deal I'd found on mobile phone checker (Samsung A3, unltd mins, unltd texts and 2gb for £20.99). So mentioned BT SIM (£31 for 4). They gave me the BT deal for £30. Already used Martin's advice and got myself a shiny new Halifax 0% on purchases for 30 months so…

Has TalkTalk Mobile switched to using the O2 network yet?
The reason I ask is because I can get a free TalkTalk Mobile sim due to my landline and Broadband being provided by TalkTalk, but it needs to be able to work in my O2 locked iPhone 5S. Does anyone know if TalkTalk Mobile sims work in O2 locked phones yet? Many thanks.

We are going to buy our daughter a mobile for her birthday. Have priced up a phone in tesco with the month-to-month sim deal as this will be her first phone. Tesco can't do insurance unless you do a 12month contract so does anyone know where I can get mobile insurance as I do not have a bank account with this perk. Any…

Argos Phone without IMEI on Receipt - How to Insure?
I can't be the only person who struggles with this, surely! I bought a new phone from Argos which was expensive and I want to insure it for accidental damage, theft and loss. Should be simple, but the Argos receipt doesn't have the IMEI or serial number printed on it, and all the insurance companies I've looked at insist…

When to leave 12 month sim only contract?
Hi all, I'm on a 12 month sim only deal with EE that ends on the 10th April 2017. At the time the deal seemed great, £19.99 for unlimited mins and texts and 16GB data but they have said I never use more than 5GB data so thought I might as well get a cheaper deal. £12 for 5GB from Virgin or the £10 for 4GB from Plusnet…

Vodafone contract help
Warning - this post is going to be a long one. I initially had two contracts open with Vodafone, one ending sooner than the other. When the two years were up, I contacted Vodafone to close down the first account. A month later, I received a bill asking for more than the contract was due - because they were still asking for…

Three not providing contracted service
I have been with Three for absolute yonks and I, generally, recommend them to death. I'd like to stay with them, really. But as their local mast has been down since 31 January, I'm currently tied in to a 24-month contract, yet receiving no service, and although they have allocated line-rental refunds, I still have no…

Orange mobile package - hard to beat!
I bet you can't beat this mobile phone package! I am on the "Orange Value Promise" (equivalent to the Virgin tariff at the time) since I joined Orange mobile about 20 years ago. I currently pay £3.16 a month plus 65p VAT = £3.88 Breakdown: 50 mins of calls = £2.55 100 mins of data = 4.17 for 50 mins of that, (the other 50…

Upgrade with EE?
Some years ago I entered a contract with EE. At the time they were offering 25% discount for civil servants. It is not offered now but I still have it as I have been upgrading to a new contract each time renewal is due. If I do not upgrade I lose the discount and will not get it back at a later date. Having the discount…
