Mobile insurance

Options
We are going to buy our daughter a mobile for her birthday. Have priced up a phone in tesco with the month-to-month sim deal as this will be her first phone. Tesco can't do insurance unless you do a 12month contract so does anyone know where I can get mobile insurance as I do not have a bank account with this perk. Any ideas.

Tell her is she breaks it or loses it she buys the replacement. Better than any policy i think?

Depends on the price of the phone. A cheap phone to replace may be not worth buying insurance for.

Google mobile phone insurance. Lots to choose from.

Nationwide do a £10 a month insurance, which includes phones, car break down, holiday cover, extra warranty on electrical goods, etc. It might be cheaper doing it this way and getting all the other perks, rather than just dedicated mobile phone insurance.

I agree, it is better to protect her phone by herself. Don't forget to get a (cheap generic) 9H tempered screen protector and durable case protector.

Spare parts for a brand new phone is very expensive, so decent protection is the best insurance with her own responsibility.

I am using a cheap 1 pound generic 9H screen protector from eBay, it does job.
