Replacing wire on electric cooker
My rabbits have chewed through the wire on my electric cooker! It is hard-wired in! Can an electrician replace just the wire, or do I need to think about buying a complete new cooker?!? I can’t even say how I feel about the rabbits right now!!

Quick Light Wiring Question
I've bought a light that had 6 bulb holders. Coming out of each bulb holder is a brown and blue wire. Do I connect all the brown wires into one side of a choc block, then connect the other side to the brown wire from the ceiling? Or should I connect all the brown wires together, then to a choc block? And I guess I do the…

looking for a tool that repeatedly taps like a hammer
Hi Anyone know of a tool that can tap like a hammer electronically? I have a buildup of calcium like stuff on a plastic cover. I have tried lots of different chemicals with no joy. Today I discovered if left to dry out it chips off with a semi-gentle tap with a hammer. The cover is massive and by hand it would take many…

First Floor Extension - Hollow Sounding Floor
Good evening all :) We have recently purchased a 1930's semi with a 2-floor rear extension. The upstairs floors' floor sounds hollow (for want of a better term) in that when downstairs you can hear footsteps, talking and even number 1's when someone's using the en-suite. You also feel like you have to tip-toe when walking…
