What warranty for knocking down kitchen wall, and moving a door and window?

Options
What kind of guarantee or warranty can people get for the following building work? The property was built in the 20s, in Greater London.
- Knock down the wall between kitchen and living room.
- Replace a side door in the kitchen with a window having the same width as the door - or maybe slightly less.
- Replace a window in the living room with a door of normal width. The current window is slightly smaller than a normal door.

Thanks.

The new door and window should have a warranty for faulty manufacturing. Depending on construction, a period of two to five years might be appropriate (two for UPVC and five for Wood?)

The demolition and installation work could have a warranty against poor workmanship, and ideally this would be for at least five years to allow time for the workmanship to be revealed as poor. Subsidence, poor mortar, water ingress might all take five years to become apparent, so if you are discussing an appropriate period of warranty, I would look for at least five years.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.
