Moving a piano
Hi all, How much do you think I should expect to pay to move a piano? It's not a particularly valuable one, and isn't tuned at present anyway (someone is giving it to us for free). If specialist firms are too expensive I'm considering just hiring a man and van and roping in lots of boys. Has anyone done it this way? It's…

Dual fuel versus gas?
We are in the process of choosing a new kitchen for the New Year and are looking at the rangemaster cookers. We have always cooked with gas but notice a lot of these are with dual fuel and fan assisted ovens. Can anyone who has one of these or used both types of cooking fuel give us some advice? Much appreciated.

Furnishing a bedroom stylishly on the cheap!
When I moved into my house I was pretty broke. I went around the junkshops and bought for £15 a nicely-made 1960s plywood chest of drawers. It was unusual in that it has no handles, but a lip all along the bottom of the drawer instead. Very streamlined. Trawling the secondhand shops over the next few weeks I found a few…
