Screwfix.com - Any others that should be considered?
Hi All, I'm in the process of renovating a house that I bought recently and have been looking at the best places for sourcing deals on various DIY items. So far I've found https://www.screwfix.com to be very competitive for many items (but not all it must be said). Are there any other places that you can recommend…

OH loves sky sports (it's pretty much the only thing he watches) so we couldn't move to freeview and Sky weren't really cheaper.…

Stopping up hot fill tap for washing machine
I've just bought a new washing machine which is cold fill only, unlike my last one. So I've turned off the hot fill tap under the sink but it's very slightly leaking. Can anyone suggest a way of stopping it up? (don't want to call out a plumber). It ends in a screw, but the 'ends' they sell in my local DIY store (Focus)…

Boiler leak - can anyone help?
I've a Worcester boiler which seems to have sprung a leak last night. There's a brown coloured fluid dripping from the bottom of the bolier when in use. Shower drips/trickles constantly
I have an electric shower which was there when I moved in two years ago. Lately it has started dripping. The dripping (which was very slow before) has progressed to a steady trickle. Is there anything I can do bar calling a plumber as money is tight at the moment? It is wasting rather a lot of water which is obviously not…

help! dried in superglue on worktops
My drawer front fell apart in my 'hygena gold' kitchen and its only 2 years old. Very badly designed as there arent any dowells, the edges are simply glued together.
