Question about glasses (the ones you wear)
Hi! I'm a 17 year old in full time education and I wear glasses most of the time... I've just somehow lost my only pair! I'm not due back to the opticians until September/October (I go to Specsavers every 12 months...) but I really can't go that long with glasses... although my eyes aren't too bad at all (short sighted,…

Palmers Scar Serum - anyone tried?
hi :) Has anyone had any experience of Palmers Scar Serum? I've got some scarring on my face from an accident as a kid and also from spots. I did try bio oil but I found it too greasy and didn't do anything for my bad skin :( I've seen it but as it's £10 I would like some opinions before buying if possible Thanks :)

Can we talk ladies bladders?
Can we talk ladies bladders? Do you do exercises to keep the muscles tight/efficient? What ones do you do? Does anyone do the ones where you stop & hold a few times in mid stream, for different lengths of time? I go a hell of a lot more during the TOTM (monthlies), proper going every hour or so. Anyone else find this?

(Cheap) clothes for tall people!
Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to this site (I usually lurk about in the background reading posts!) but I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites/shops that sell 'tall' ranges? I'm not massively tall (5'9) but I like to have trousers that fit me instead of flapping round my ankles! I had a look on Long Tall Sally, but I…

Nailcare
OK, so after 35 years of chewing, gnawing, ripping, tearing and generally murderising my hands, I have (and I have no idea how, so don't ask me) stopped biting my nails. My Mum bites her nails, even now in her 70s, all my brothers bite their nails, I have never known anyone who has long nails. My bloke/ex/OH (it's…

Extractions?
Had a gum infection last week, which was annoying rather than painful and resolved itself within about 24 hours. I did see my (private) dentist who gave me 5 days of antibiotics and asked me to go back this morning. I only went to see him because it was Friday and I didn't want it to get worse over the weekend. Apparently…

Free gym membership by accident
I’ve been a member of well-known nationwide chain of health clubs for about five years. Every month they should take about £160.00 out of my bank account by direct debit for a family gym membership. For several months now, they’ve stopped taking the money out of my account. I’ve not cancelled my subscription or direct…

Taking Norethisterone as going on holiday
Hi After working out my dates (serveral times!) I find out I'm due my period while on holiday. We're not going anywhere 'rural' or anything like that but I really don't want to start while away as it will put a damper (mildly!) on the whole thing.
